 Starting in 2006 Continuant provided Consulting, Independent Commissioning and Measurement and Verification services in the residential, commercial and institutional markets. The sector focus was on energy management and performance, in all building systems and equipment, including controls and programming.
 

This background gave us unique insights that we applied to understanding advanced control and management of electric loads on grids and microgrids. We recognised that essential to supporting energy transformation was to provide future-proofing technology that directly focused on electric grid load management in the residential and commercial markets.  So, with decades of industry and hands-on experience under our belt in 2017-2019, we made a paradigm shift to focus on the research, development and design of software technology that held future-proofing solutions. 

Between 2019 to 2023 significant goals have been accomplished, we have a universal software accompanied by companion hardware specific for each equipment application that has the versatility to address the complex needs of the Demand Response, Frequency Response, and Flexible Load management markets and programs.
